Passion Fruit

Passion fruit belongs to the Passifloraceae family, which includes a great number of species, most of them native from Brazil. It is currently cultivated in many countries.

Passion fruit is a tropical plant that is very sensitive to cold or freezing weather, better growing in temperatures around 25ºC. It is a plant that produces fruits during most part of the year, excepting during a short period in the winter time.
